		The Bride's Page The Wedding Center at Peggy's Personalized Products The Tradition of the Bride's Personal Gift to the Groom There is a lovely wedding tradition of the bride giving a personal gift to the groom before the wedding and the groom giving his bride a personal gift also. Often the gifts are exchanged using the maid-of-honor and the best man as couriers presenting the gifts while the bride and groom are dressing themselves for the wedding. The gifts may also be given during quiet intimate moments days before the wedding. Whatever best fits the gift and its meaning will dictate when the gifts are exchanged.

I was watching the television show, "Who's Wedding is it Anyway?" and was moved with one bride's gift choice to her husband-to-be. The groom had lost two siblings during his life to tragic accidents. The bride presented him with locket cufflinks in which she had placed pictures of each of his lost siblings so his lost ones would be "with him" on his special day. I thought how appropriate this special gift really was. They didn't show a close-up of the cufflinks but I imagine they were similar to the ones I carry, if not the exact same ones.
