Connectors or Adaptors: You will need to connect your equipment to your plumbing so make sure to order the right connectors for the filter, UV or pump you choose. Flex hose will need flex hose adaptors. PVC flex and PVC piping will use regular PVC fittings. We especially like to use unions (aka Quick Disconnects) when installing filters, UVs and pumps so that we can disconnect it easily from the system for repairs and cleaning.

If you have decided on either a ProBead or SuperPro filter, they already come with the PVC Unions but flex connectors can be substituted in many cases and all for no extra charge - but - if you choose a different filter make sure that it either comes with the correct sized adaptors for your plumbing or that you order the correct adaptors.

External Pumps generally do not come with connectors or unions. We would suggest installing unions for PVC or Flex PVC installations. Many submersible pumps come with flex hose adaptors but they may not be the right size for the flex hose that you want to use. Read the contents carefully and know what is included in case you need to order the correct size fittings.
