Oh, so true, especially when building a pond. Sorry folks, there are no cheap alternatives for good pond equipment. If it sounds too good to be true - it is too good to be true!
Don't fall for products that the manufacturers claim can do the same job as higher priced types of equipment. There's no regulations in the industry and the labels stretch the truth waaaaay out of proportion. For example, a 40 watt UV might state that it can do 10,000 gallons! Don't believe it. The manufacturers get away with waaaay too much!
