BLIND MELON CHITLIN'

Blind Melon Chitlin' has been with us for about 5 years now.  He's a 16 inch chagoi who was born without eyes.  We didn't think he would sell at the store so we just kept him.  He was always very skinny though I don't think he was malnourished.  It was harder for him to find the food than the others.  He's really taken to the new pond and has learned where the uneaten food collects.  Though rounded corners on the pond would have been better for the water circulation it sure has helped Blind Melon find food.  I bet he's gained two pounds since we moved him into the new pond.  He's also learned to trust us and has even allowed me to brush up against him. 

**By the way, his name came from a Cheech & Chong character.
