Products to Control the Effects of Ammonia & Nitrite
Problems and Beef Up the Biological Filter
Fish cannot live very long in a pond that has no nitrifying cycle in place. The ammonia and nitrites will kill the fish. The trick is to prevent ammonia and nitrite spikes from occurring by installing a proper biological filter where good bacteria can thrive and create the nitrifying cycle.
