Ultraviolet Water Clarifying Units |
Algae can literally turn a pond green after just a day of bright sunshine. Get rid of the green once and for all by installing an ultraviolet water clarifier. Please NOTE: UVs do NOT get rid of string or blanket algae, only green water!

Important Notes About Sizing Your UV
Remember that the amount of sun the pond gets, the amount of fish load (ie. fertilizer for the algae), and the amount of muck that normally accumulates on the bottom (ie. more fertilizer for the algae) will affect the efficiency of the UV unit. Those who have ponds on the borderlines should generally go up to the next size.
Its important to note also that most manufacturers of UVs rate the efficiency of their products at OPTIMUM conditions. Their ratings do not take into consideration fish load and other pond particulars. Dont be fooled by reading the package. We have tested and listed above a more accurate wattage size for gallonage of pond.
Flow rates through the UV will also vary the performance of the unit. Care must be taken that the water does not flow too quickly or slowly through the unit. This is one of those times when we can be helpful. Call us at (770) 663-6325.
*UV must be sized and installed correctly.
