The Tadpole UV is everything you need to clear up an algae bloom for up to 1500 gallons.  It is possibly the world's easiest solution.  Complete with Pump and Pre-Filter, all you need to do is toss it in and plug it up.  The components of this submersible Ultraviolet Water Clarifier are perfectly matched to provide koi ponds, goldfish ponds and water gardens of up to 1500 gallons (1200 if in full sun) with year-round crystal clear water.

Here's how the Tadpole UV Filter System works:

You place it anywhere in the pond and plug it up.  As it pulls water through the sides of the filter the padding inside traps dirt and debris and as the water passes over the 25 watt UV lamp it sterilizes the algae, resulting in a clear pond.   

It's that easy to install!

It's not necessary to attach a hose to the outflow end of the pump.  The water will simply flow out into the water.  The 500 gph flow of the pump, however, is perfect to run a decorative fountain or small waterfall.  Might as well take advantage.
