Even if the lamp in your UV is still lit it may have lost its strength. If the unit is working properly but it doesn't seem to be clearing it up like it used to you might find that by simply replacing the lamp your Emperor UV will work like new! We recommend changing the lamp (bulb) in your Emperor Aquatics Smart UV every year. All Emperor Smart UV (with the exception of the high output models) Lamps are .75 inches in diameter - T5 Style Bulbs.
