External Pumps

How External Pumps SAVE You Money!
The PRICE of an external pump is generally higher than its submersible counterpart. The COST of a submersible pump, however, is much higher in the long run. Here's why:
How External Pumps SAVE You Time!
External pumps are one of the most important components of low-maintenance pond design. They allow the pond-owner the ability to bring all filtering and cleaning "chores" to the outside of the pond where it can be reached easily and without getting wet! This can be done in just a few moments.
How External Pumps SAVE Your Back!
External pumps pull water through bottom re-circulation drains and fish-safe skimmers so all large debris can be easily removed by shaking out the leaf-baskets attached to the side of the pump and in the skimmer. Heavy and wet submersible pumps must be lifted from the bottom of the pond and cleaned at least once a week during pond season. This can become a major problem for senior citizens and others who can't lift heavy loads.
