The FLEXIBLE 12 volt Underwater Lighting Solution
Whether it's for a small pond or a large series of water features you can put together the right lighting for your pond, pool and surrounding landscape right here on this page. In the past, underwater lighting always irritated me. Not only do you have to purchase a light unit you must have a transformer to make it work! Underwater lighting is not cheap and with many of the manufacturers it seemed that one would have to have a separate transformer for every light! That's just not so. With this 12 volt lighting solution I've found that it's easy to mix and match with wattage and style with a single transformer in most cases. Here's how easy it is:
You determine how many of what wattage lights you want in (and around) your pond. Then you choose the size transformer. You have the option of using either a 20-watt, 35-watt or 50-watt lamp in the following light units. 20 watt is perfect for cozy corners in a small pond while 50 watts will give you quite a blast of light. All of them will work together on the same transformer as long as the transformer will take the total wattage.
This particular light is the least expensive at $77.95. When combined with a transformer as a kit you can save a lot of money. This light offers a kit with a 100-watt transformer. That means you can have up to 5 ea. 20-watt lights OR 2 ea. 50 watt lights OR 1 ea 20-watt plus 2 ea 35 watt --- as long as the total wattage of lights you're adding doesn't go over the 100 watts you do not need another transformer!

12 volt Underwater Lights -- 20, 35 or 50 watt Lights can be purchased as units or in kits with transformer included. Each light comes with a set of colored lenses (green, yellow, red and blue) and a 20 watt lamp. The base of the light unit is filled with epoxy that surrounds the power cord. This prevents water from entering the light, even when the cord is damaged. Comes with a 30' power cord and 3-year warranty (excludes lamp). Money-saving kits include a 100 watt transformer which allows up to 5 ea. 20-watt lights to be added without needing a separate transformer! Transformer has photo eye that automatically triggers the unit to turn on at dusk. UL listed. Options: Conceal the light by snapping on an optional Rock Shell surround! See other transformers that work with this product. Change to 35 or 50 watt lamps by ordering replacements. |

Remember - it still uses that same transformer but you are running out of space with the transformer kit above.
