Knock out ulcer disease in koi and goldfish quickly and safely by giving bad bacteria the ole' one-two punch.  Fight the effects of anaerobic bacteria by treating fish topically with The Doc's Prescription Lil' Dab-a-Do™ while at the same time preventing the infection from spreading and attacking the fish from within by feeding him Doc's Prescription™ Triple Antibiotic Food.

Why subject weak fish to further stress through dipping when only a little dab will do with Lil' Dab-a-Do™?  It only takes 3 treatments and there's no risk of over-exposing weakened fish to harsh antibiotic dips.  Tests show 70% results within 3 to 5 days!

When ulcers, fin rot and mouth rot occurs in koi and goldfish it can easily spread to the delicate tissues of internal organs such as kidney and bladder.  Septicemia is tough to beat and in its worst form (dropsy) impossible to cure.  Prevent the infection from going any further by feeding Doc's Prescription™ Triple Antibiotic Food.

Safe, Quick and Effective -- Give your fish a fighting chance against ulcer disease by using The Doc's Prescription Double Whammy Pack.

Instructions for Treating with Lil' Dab-a-Do™

We call Lil' Dab-a-Do™ our miracle in a bottle because it heals ulcers, mouth rot and fin rot quickly and easily without subjecting weak fish to the harsh treatments of antibiotic dips.

Prepare for Treatment

Fish to be treated should be kept in a quarantine tank or in a small pond that is easy to access because you will need to catch the fish every day for 3 days during the treatment.  Salt the tank at .04% non-iodized salt. (4 lbs. per 100 gallons or 4 teaspoons per gallon).  Salt prevents fish from absorbing water through the ulcer so it helps keep the infection from invading internal tissues.

Prepare the area by having the following items handy:

*To make a fresh water dip tank choose a plastic container large enough to fit the fish you are treating.  Fill the container two-thirds full of water from your pond.

One person should be able to handle small fish alone but we suggest a helper be available to assist with holding larger fish still during treatment.

As always -- before handling fish -- wet your hands (or gloves) with pond water.  This prevents loss of protective slime layer.

How to Administer Lil' Dab-a-Do™

Step 1:
Pour a small amount of Lil' Dab-a-Do™ into the small bowl.

Step 2:
Soak one cotton ball in the solution

Step 3:
Net the fish you wish to treat.

Step 4:
Wet your hands (or gloves).

Step 5:

1st Day's Treatment ONLY:
Take the cotton ball and gently scrub the ulcerated area.  You must remove any loose scales surrounding the ulcer because infection is hiding underneath.

2nd & 3rd Day's Treatments:
Only gently dab the ulcerated or infected area with the cotton balls.  You do not want to disturb the healing tissue that is starting to form.

Step 6:
Place the fish in the fresh water dip tank to rinse off the antibiotic solution.  This step is important because traces of the solution can kill filter bacteria.

Step 7:
After a few minutes, place the fish back into the pond or quarantine tank and discard any unused solution remaining in the bowl.

For each fish you treat you will perform these steps once every day for 3 days.  After the 3rd day your treatment with Lil' Dab-a-Do™ is over in most cases.  Some severe cases of mouth and fin rot may require 5 treatments.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Instructions for Feeding With The Doc's Prescription™ Triple Antibiotic Food

To prevent the infection from spreading to internal organs feed the fish a diet of only The Doc's Prescription™ Triple Antibiotic Food for two weeks.

For best results feed only a small portion of food several times each day.  The fish do taste the antibiotics in the food and, if given a choice, will often opt for a better tasting snack so during the two-week quarantine period do not feed them anything else.  After the two weeks is over discontinue the antibiotic food and resume feeding them their normal diet.

Store any unused food in the refrigerator.  Do NOT freeze.  Discard any remaining food after 6 months.
