The problem with treating koi and goldfish for parasites is knowing which type of parasite the fish have.  Ick, Chilodonella, Costia and Trichodina all belong to a protozoan classification that is treated with a specific type of medication.  Flukes (including Gill and Body Flukes), Argulus (Fish Lice) and Anchor Worm are more structured and what works for them will not work for the others.
