Comments on How Many Gallons a Filter Will TRULY Filter
Many manufacturers will "rate" a filter at a certain amount of gallons or even by pounds of fish.  99% of the time their ratings are highly over-rated!  When rating filters by pounds of fish it becomes very difficult because of many variables such as the amount of food fed to the fish, how often the fish are fed, amount of organic material in the pond due to heavy plant loads, and the amount of aeration in the pond.
