Meet Peggy Ferguson (that's me)

Peggy was born in Atlanta, Georgia and lived most her early life as a "wild child" on the south side of Metro Atlanta in the little towns of College Park and East Point. After she met Cecil they moved to the north side, living in Suwanee for over 13 years, then finally settling into a home in Dahlonega, Georgia. She learned to appreciate gardening when she and Cecil purchased their first home together in Norcross. As if the 30 tea roses, Cecil's vegetable garden and her herb garden weren't enough, she longed to have a water garden. She's the one who urged Cecil to help her build a pond which he finally agreed to once they moved into their home in Suwanee which started Cecil on the road to developing "The Pond Doc".

Until February, 1999, Peggy worked a full-time job the Sales Administrator for WIN Communications in Norcross, Georgia and worked at the water garden center on weekends. When the garden center's business was too much for Cecil to handle alone, Peggy joined him full time. After eight seasons the water garden center lost its lease due to the new developments going up in Alpharetta. She is now working from her home in Dahlonega, Georgia, keeping PondDoc.com, Peggy's Personalized Products and Pond Doc's Home & Garden running smoothly during the hectic moving and organization of the store.

She's always loved writing and her newsletter, What's Up, Doc?, is the creative outlet she needs. Unable to get everything done, the newsletter took a back seat and there have been no new printed editions of What's Up, Doc? for the past couple of years. A collection of the articles from the many editions of What's Up, Doc? is available online. Just go HERE. She's looking forward to having the time to dedicate once again to the newsletter.
